What I will be doing is instead of having a carpet on the trunk, I will be doing a full on hardwood floor with a hatch to get to the rear tire. I won’t be doing a half-ass job that most people do by placing the wood right over the carpet. Also, I will be installing my sub after all. I have a Rockford Fosgate 10″ Punch sub that I was going to sell but decided against it now. Now my plan with that is actually mounting in a cardboard box with a wood box inside it to hold it all together. Than right on the top, cut the hole in the wood box and mount the sub in there. When the floor is done, I will screw the whole box to the floor. This makes it look like a random package in the trunk with a sub in it, like I just opened the box for a new sub.
