Sometimes I wonder how smart people really are sometimes. I am warning you, this is quite strange and if you don’t like any sort of toilet humor, look away now. Don’t say I did not tell you.

Yesterday was just bad for me. The one really funny bad thing that did happen, well, happened in the bathroom. Not with me but with a customer. Hugo is his name and he has a habit of sort of flirt with all the girls in the store and is just a wee bit strange. He brings them all food and such but gives me an attitude whenever I say a single thing.

One of the employees lets him into the back to use our not so employees only bathroom so he can use it. I am sitting in the back room for like twenty minuets waiting for him to get out so I can get up front to bring change to the register. I thought he finally left so I just left and walked up front, plus my boss was sitting right there in his office. By the time I walked back my memory problems kicked in and completely forgot all about him.

An hour after he gets in there he comes out, of the woman’s bathroom that is, and says “you need a plunger for this bathroom”. He flooded the bathroom with his nasty water to the point it was running into the hallway. First thing my boss asked was “why didn’t you turn off the valve?” We never got a straight answer from him but he never did. I ended up having to mop up all the nasty water. It took me about an hour or so to get the puddle to go away and filled up the mop bucket with at least three gallons of the water. It was one of the worst things that has ever happened to me at my job. There has been some other things that where quite bad but this is the most recent one. I can never look at Hugo the same way again.

I can’t understand why my cat does this stuff to me. Last night my cat was was jumping, standing and using me as a pillow on my own bed. I actually woke up with him standing on my chest with his nose almost in my mouth. It freaked me out a whole lot. Than he did this for the next few hours till about 7AM when I woke up. Mind you, this started like 2:30ish AM this morning. He does not make much sense at night at all.

Also, the timing belt cover that I was painting. Yea, I sort of destroyed it yesterday trying to get back into the car and now I have to find another one to paint again and hopefully not break this one.

I am still having problems with my hosts e-mail server. I e-mailed a blog post with something everyone should like about two days ago and it still did not post so keep an eye out under this post for the next week or so. It will eventually pick it up, but who knows when.

I received my new La Fondera a few days ago and forgot to post it. I know, how did I already get it? Don’t ask me. It said like 2-3 weeks delivery when I got it in two days. Well of course the first thing was rip the box open, check to see which model I got, and put it back into the box and back on my shelf. I don’t know when I am going to set that one up but it will happen at some point. The old FON is completely dead. I got the serial cable from e-bay two days ago or something. I tried testing it out and what did you know, nothing at all showed up on the terminal. I was looking up about JTAG ing it but it seems like it is very very hard to get it to work right. That is a future project. Right now I have to much going on.

Krass and me now have a plan, or should I say will have one since I didn’t even give him dimensions of anything in my room, to build my new desk. If I did not tell you, my desk is way way to small for me. I can barely fit my 20″ iMac on it, let alone my second monitor. HUMMM. That just gave me another idea of what to do when this new desk is done. Ill try to remember and post it later on but ill let you all suffer (Like anyone actually cares enough) for awhile.

Wow! This is some random tangent I went of to tonight. I think the 13 hour work day completely got to me. Um, i’m going to just shut up now before I make this a full page.

I was at work today and out of no where, there was a woman wearing a whoopie cushion costume. I had to get a picture so I went on the security cameras and took a screenshot of the moment that best suites. It’s not great but it works.

So today at work was garbage. Since I get very stressed very easy, I took a small break for myself. One of my co-workers just started his break (I don’t clock out when I’m there. That’s what is so nice about being a manager) so I was doing my usual boring mindless work doing inventory management and something caught my eye while I was holding it. For some reason, Elmer’s decided to put random clips on the back of it for it seems like no reason. So I just blurted something like “why don’t we ask the company?” and he said “Hey, why not?”. In the end, he ended up emailing them asking them why. Here is the screenshot to prove it.

So last night my friend Krass and his girlfriend Diana told me how interesting my site actually is. I’m very surprised that people actually like it. I hope new lookers like this just as much.

Well I just wanted to say that first.

Here is the bad news. This morning I got a call from the other manager, Jason, because guess what? The one thing we have been trying to avoid for years happened at some point last night. The server crashed. See what sucks is that the server really does host all the six registers in the store. It holds the complete item database and it hosts the program that runs on the registers. I’m just going to try to stay out of this ordeal as much as I can. I have a test to do today for Accounting in which I am probably going to fail anyway. Still it needs to get done and I can’t be bothered with this crisis.

I forgot all about this. Did you know that windows could have an uptime of a full year? Yep, neither did I. Here is a screen shot to prove it. It’s the main database server at my job. The hysterical thing is that it crashed the next day. Reminds me of a t-shirt I have seen somewhere where it says “windows has been running for “bah blabah”. Windows does not run for that long. Your computer will now crash” or something to that effect. This picture is real. No editing or “photoshopping”.

Well, i have made some progress on the homepage if anyone actually looked. Of course its not done. I’m not that lazy. Well? Its debatable, but i do want this done. I would like some ideas of what to put on this site. If anyone sees this at all, give me suggestions. I plan on making a few guides on how to do stuff with Linux and other random things. Mostly to get things to work that otherwise wont. It should be good. Ill make up maybe a guides page tonight if i don’t pass out as i’m walking out the stores doors tonight when i close up.
