I finally got around to replacing the stupid CPU fan in my server this morning. For the last few months it has been crazy annoying. Replaced it with a CoolerMaster unit I got for about $12 off newegg.com. I even got a free 10ft Cat6 network cable which is nice. While it was open, I figured I would take a few pictures of it in it’s new case I got for it a few months back. It’s a nice Antec case, which I completely forgot the model number of it or I would tell you. Its very well built considering the price. Anyway, what I was saying before about pictures, here are some of them:

You may be wondering what I have done with the server since the last time I posted about it. It may seem like a lot has changed. Well, it has. I moved it out of the 1U rack server case into the Antec ITX case (as I stated before), ditched the 2 320GB Seagate drives in favor of a 32GB OCZ SSD, and added a 250GB 7200RPM Seagate Laptop drive as a scratch drive. So far this has made a Huge improvement over the last 2 drives in SW RAID 1. Also, the Drobo received an upgrade in the form of 4 2TB WD GreenPower drives which now give me a storage capacity of 5.8TB. Plenty of space. I soon hope to get better pictures for my Pics and Info page about my server, since it needs an update bad.

It comes with a 33 record with the musical score, a CD with the same thing as the record, three art deco style posters with places in rapture, a 160 something page book with concept art for the game in it and the game at the bottom. As is I already ripped the audio off the album.

What started as “Let me test my summer wheels to see if they will or will not rub since the car is lowered” turned in to “Dam, that looks hot! I think I’ll just keep them on”. Ill show you what I mean.

You can’t say it doesn’t look good. I mean I like love my BBS wheels but the Euro R32 reps are just so perfect for it. Now I need to sort out the reverse rake it has. I plan on getting my front fenders rolled than cutting a coil or two off the front struts. Who knows when that will happen but that’s the plan.

I had a great time and made a few friends while I was at it. Was such a crappy night though. It rained the entire time and became extremely cold which sucked. I still can’t completely feel my feet. Me and Rich are going to try to setup a weekly thing of some sort. Still a few things that need to get worked out but we will see.

I was off to my intern job and as I walked out of the house, I spotted this. I have no idea where it came from but it freaked me out just a bit when I saw it. Had to take a picture to prove it.

My co-worker Nick found this in a tote from the basement for the sidewalk sale. Enjoy.

Yesterday I got my new 4motion valance but didn’t have the time to install it yesterday. Today after school, I got my chance to do it. This meant pulling off my bumper and fitting the new one on. It was not a direct fit like I was told but all I needed to do was sand away just a bit of overhanging plastic and it snapped back on. Now look how nice it looks.

Now all I need to do is install my new Koni Cup Sport Yellow shocks and Neuspeed Race Springs to drop the car a little bit. Than it will look hot.

So tonight I ended up going out to Dave and Busters for a friend of mines birthday celebration thingy. Most of them I have not seem for months so it was good to see them all. Well, since me and Debbie had no money at all, we ended up watching a guy spend at least $4k on the “Spin-A-Win” and win close to 1 Million tickets with just that. Afterwards, we wondered off to the gift shop to wander aimlessly. During my short visit there, I came across a box of “Naughty Animals” as pictured. Than, in usual Biggs style, with his winnings, he bought himself a food blender and a few glasses that where plastic. That was it. Just another usual night for me.

Finally got around to painting my front grill black to make it look better with the white. Here is my final product.

Sunday I went to one of the best events in my life. Waterfest 15. North Americas largest gathering of VW’s and Audi’s. With this post, I will be going over everything I did along with the pictures that I took. I didn’t take as many as I thought I would because of the sheer size of the event and the fact that I did not have an SLR.

I left my house at about 6am and immediately went to search for a car wash that is open that early. Well turns out there isn’t any, well, that I know of. I tried Vets Car Wash down the road from me. It wasn’t so instead of taking the LIE, I ended up taking 27. I was going to get off at Robert Mosses Causeway and take Southern PKW to the Belt but I completely forgot about it so I said whatever. Remember, it is 6:20am. I started to continue to take 27 all the way to the Belt PKW. At that point I really wished I got off at RM since I would have missed all the traffic lights, even though since it was early I barely hit any. Finally get to the Belt towards Verrazano-Narrows Br into Staten Island. I didn’t realize that the bridge went up to $11 a car. Took 440 south to Outer Br and than onto Rt 9 south. When I got to the track, I got completely confused at where I was going. Took me a good 10 minuets just to get to the huge exhibition parking lot I was parking in.

Finally, I got there and started to get overwhelmed with Audi’s and VW’s. One after another they where pulling in. From full stock to completely rebuilt cars. It was just amazing. Thing was that I got there very very early so I needed to wait to actually get into the grounds with all the vendors and such. I had to take a quick look around the parking lot just to see what was around. Here are some pictures. Most of these where later in the day since there where a lot more.
