I finally got my interior LED set for my car in last week. Makes a huge difference now inside. The only issue I have with them, which 42DD states is normal, is that the two dome lights are still lit while the lights are off. I don’t know about them but that should not be normal but whatever. Ill get used to it.

Also, I have been toying with the site again. So far little tweaks here and there. Have to still add some CSS code for this part of the site for how it works with images. The major change I made was the links. I had them such a close color to black with no underline, you could hardly see them. So I added the underline for most links but not all. Also I am still in the process of getting my SSL cert working though the entire /wordpress/wp-admin directory with no avail. That’s it for now.

Found this searching for color codes and came across this. It’s a mouse pad that has all the basic web color hex codes. It is quite cheap too for only $15. I plan on getting it soon but we will see.

A few days ago I opened up the comments to non registered users. I figured that might be a reason why no one was commenting on posts, but it could be more the fact that no one even looks at this and I am wasting my time. Anywho, I opened them up to non registered users. Also, for registered users, I setup a self signed SSL cert for the login and admin page. Since it is self signed, what ever browser you are using will complain that it is not signed. This is ok. Just hit accept and you are good to go. If you have any issues, let me know at admin@bankshouse.org.

I finally got my comments working. Now if you really want to, you could leave comments on my posts and such. Now my new mission for my site is to write javascript to highlight the site links in the menu bar. I gave it my best shot for now but its still not working right. Ill play with it tonight to see if I could get it working.

Edit: It is finally working. Literally right after I was done doing the initial publish of this post, I took a good long look of the code and got it working how I want. It has a delay which annoys me a bit but it can never be perfect. Now I have to write a new mobile page since my old one is now obsolete. I still left the link to the code so you could look at it.

I was wondering. Why is there a page section of WordPress? What is the main reason for it? I really have no use for it that I am aware of.

It seems like I forgot to get my comment system working. I also forgot about searching. I think I will place the search function in the sidebar. Ill keep you posted with updates.

So I started a new internship at MGK Design Group for web design and management. So far it seems cool. The hours are very flexible and I get to do a lot of work at home. One of my main goals is to promote his pet website called “Winston Fetch”. To start, I will promote it on here. The site is located at Winstonfetch.com. Check it out. The site is aimed towards pet owners and independent pet stores. What is nice about it is that is PDF files of the stores circulars for that week or month. Also, there is a great contest where pet owners upload a picture of their pet for a calendar to be sold in the stores listed on the site. Give it a looksie.

So if you noticed, the new site it up and running and looking great. It is still a little buggy but it does work. Soon, I will be making my theme into an actual WordPress theme, thats if anyone is interested. Give me your comments on the new theme. I would love to hear them.
